The man lost when he invented the time machine
A man from Stanberry, Missouri, USA named Mike “Madman” Marcum attempted to build a working time machine in his front yard. He began working on a device called the Jacobs Ladder. The Jacobs Ladder is a device that reduces the resistance between two poles using a modified compact disc laser, resulting in a continuous arc. When he turned on the device, he noticed something unusual. He found that there was a similar heat path that you would see in hot music, but it was going around in a circle.
So he decided to test the effect by throwing a sheet of metal into the vortex to see what would happen. As a result, the vine disappeared for half a second, but it reappeared in a remote place.
Marcum was 21 years old at the time and was completing an electrical course. He is a bright and intelligent student compared to his fellow students.
Marcum’s reason for wanting to build a time machine was so that he could get future lottery numbers. However, Marcum had to deal with the problem of needing a large power source for a fully functional time machine.
The CD laser burned out after another attempt. He realized that he had to use a large transformer to rebuild the car.
He intended to buy new converters, but they were expensive. So he changed his mind and stole over £300 from 6 transformers at St Joseph Light and Power Station in King City.
When he was doing his experiment, he caused an earthquake that caused the electricity to go out for several blocks in his area. He was later convicted of stealing transformers and arrested by Gentry County Sheriff Eugene Lupfer shortly after the January 29, 1995 crash.
After serving several months in prison, Marcum was released and made a guest appearance for Art Bell on the Coast and Radio Costa Guest, where he shared his story and plan to build a vintage car. He also promised that this time he will do it legally.
On the radio show, Marcum said he still wants to try it but doesn’t have the resources, including money and equipment. During the interview, he publicly disclosed his phone number, from which he received non-stop calls for three days. Many listeners contacted Marcum because they wanted to help with money, ideas, and more. Little help and donations made his work stronger and the level of this time is higher than before. This time he wanted to test the time machine himself, so he increased the power of the motor from 1 kilowatt to 3 megawatts. To make the experiment more effective and efficient, he also installed a rotating magnetic field similar to the one used by the US military in the Philadelphia experiment.
A year later, Mike was invited again to be a guest by Art Bell, where Mike said that this time he was having the highest and most sophisticated time. Again, the electromagnetic vortex is too big for humans.
At the end of the interview, Marcum said he was close to creating the tension needed to run the machine. When Mike was asked what he would take with him, Mike replied that he would only take his phone with him. She gave him his address instead of his phone number. In 1996, during his last question, Mike said he only had 30 days to complete his “legal” time machine.
Mike Marcum went missing in 1997 and was never found. A stranger finally called the Art Bell Show to share an amazing story he had found.
According to the report, a man’s body was found on a California beach in the 1930s. The body is mysteriously crushed in a strange metal tube, the face is in an unrecognizable position, and strange things are seen around the body. The device looks like a phone.
