115 years ago, divers found a piece of gold on a Greek island. It changed our understanding of human history. One hundred and fifteen years ago, an archaeologist was examining artifacts found in a 2,000-year-old shipwreck off the Greek island of Antikythera. Among the precious objects of the ruins  — beautiful vases and pots, jewels, bronze statues of ancient philosophers — are the most diverse: the process of making jewelry and playing instruments in place of the mantel clock scale. A man from Stanberry, Missouri, USA named Mike “Madman” Marcum attempted to build a working time machine in his front yard. He began working on a device called the Jacobs Ladder. The Jacobs Ladder is a device that reduces the resistance between two poles using a modified compact disc laser, resulting in a continuous arc. When he turned on the device, he noticed something unusual. He found that there was a similar heat path that you would see in hot music, but it was going around in a circle. So he decided to test the effect by throwing a sheet of metal into the vortex to see what would happen. As a result, the vine disappeared for half a second, but it reappeared in a remote place. Marcum was 21 years old at the time and was completing an electrical course. He is a bright and intelligent student compared to his fellow students.
